Professor Rochelle le Roux

Rochelle is a professor in the Faculty of Law, University of Cape Town (UCT) and lectures mainly labour law. In January 2012 she became the director of the Institute of Development and Labour Law. She has a PhD from UCT and her main research interest is the scope of employment. She regularly publishes in peer-reviewed/accredited journals and in 2005 published a book Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: Law, Policies and Processes with Thandi Orleyn and Alan Rycroft. A further edition of this book, Harassment in the Workplace: Law, Policies and Processes, was published during August 2010. Rochelle is a non-executive director of the South African Reserve Bank and also a member of the board of the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport.
